Travel Soccer: BAYS Fall 2008 Soccer will begin September 6, 2008(tentative date)

Grades 4 & 5 - U10 and U11
BAYS Travel Soccer program - Grade 4 6v6 soccer - Grade 5 8v8 soccer
Several teams stratified (by skill & involvement) and the remainder balanced.

Grades 6, 7 & 8 - U12 and U14
BAYS Travel Soccer program - Grade 6 plays 8v8 and U14 plays 11v11.
Several teams stratified (by skill & involvement) and the remainder balanced.

Team placements are done with 3 inputs:

Coach Evaluation
Tryout results
Inter-team scrimmages

Travel teams practices two times per week recommended (fall) - minimum of one per week during spring.

In-Town Soccer: Kindergarten through Grade 3 Soccer Registration Information:

K - 2 In-Town Soccer: Meets Sundays Sept. 21, 28, Oct. 5, 19, 26, Nov. 2, and 9th 2008. No Soccer Columbus Day Weekend.

The Dover program meets at the new HS/MS back fields.

The Sherborn program meets at Laurel Farms.

Grade 3 In-Town Soccer: Plays Saturday Sept. 20, 27, Oct. 4, 18, 25, Nov. 1, and 8th 2008. No game scheduled for Columbus Day Weekend Oct. 11th. Games are played Saturdays at 9:00 am. Boys play at Laurel Field. Girls play at Fessenden Field. Teams will typically practice once a week at the coach's discretion.

REFUND POLICY

In the past, we have not had a documented policy for refunding registration fees when players withdraw from the program. We have researched refund policies of other area towns and developed a policy that is in line with these other towns. Below is the new refund policy that will be in place starting with fall 2008 registration.

Fall Registration

Before July 1 - 100% registration fee less $10
After July 1 - no refund with the exception of serious injury or moving out of town

Spring Registration

Before Feb 1 - 100% registration fee less $10
After Feb 1 - no refund with the exception of serious injury of moving out of town
